The Junior School Inter-House Elocution Competition was held on 25th November 2024 in the school auditorium, showcasing the exceptional oratory talents of our young students. Organized to promote confidence, eloquence, and a love for public speaking, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Grades I, II, and III.
The program commenced with melodious singing sessions, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere. This was followed by a Bible reading and prayer, which set a tone of inspiration and gratitude. Our Principal, Mr. Alistair R.A. Freese, addressed the participants with encouraging words, motivating them to perform their best.
The participants impressed the audience with their remarkable confidence, clarity, and expressive delivery. The event successfully fostered speaking skills, boosted self-confidence, and nurtured a passion for the English language among the students.
The competition concluded with the coordinators, Mrs. Anupama and Mrs. Maria Gabriel, commending the participants for their commendable efforts. They emphasized the significance of such platforms in fostering self-expression and confidence.
The announcement of Pettigrew House as the overall winners marked the highlight of the event, celebrating their exceptional performances. It was a proud moment for the school, as the budding orators inspired the audience and motivated their peers to aim higher.
