The Department of Labour, Government of Karnataka, organised a rally to mark the World Day Against Child Labour at Gandhi Memorial Park, MG Road, Bengaluru. Demonstrating their unwavering support for this vital cause, nearly 70 students from the ISC Section of our institution actively participated, voicing the solidarity of the Cottonian community.
The Department of Humanities took the initiative to ensure strong student representation, and their efforts were commendable. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from individuals across various walks of life, reflecting a united commitment to the eradication of child labour.
Students expressed deep appreciation for the Department of Labour for its meticulous planning and seamless execution of the event. The experience reinforced the importance of nurturing empathy and compassion for the underprivileged during a child’s formative years.
