The Boarders’ Freshers’ Day for the academic year 2026–2027 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and camaraderie at the Mini Auditorium on 11 July 2026. The programme was organised by the senior boarders to warmly welcome the new students into the boarding family and help them feel at home in their new environment.
The programme commenced at 6:00 p.m. with a welcome address by the Deputy Head of Boarders. The Vice Principal then addressed the gathering, extending a warm welcome to the freshers and encouraging them to uphold discipline, create lasting memories, and make the most of their time at Cottons.
The highlight of the evening was a vibrant array of cultural performances presented by the senior boarders. The audience was entertained with lively dance performances and a solo song by Jadiel. In a gesture of warmth and fellowship, the freshers were also presented with welcome gifts.
All the resident staff were present on the occasion and joined the boarders in celebrating this special evening. The programme concluded with a fellowship dinner, bringing the memorable evening to a cheerful close.
