The Junior School celebrated its Annual Prize Day on 15th July 2026. The occasion was graced by Ms. Margaretta Eastwood, Principal of Eastwood High School, as the Chief Guest.
The programme commenced with a prayer led by Rev. Christy Gnanadasan, Civil Area Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board of Management, Bishop Cotton Boys’ School, followed by a choral rendition by the School Choir. Dr. Alistair R. A. Freese, Principal, welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest.
In her address, Ms. Eastwood encouraged the students and teachers to face challenges with determination and to continue striving for excellence.
The Annual Report highlighted the major achievements and milestones of the school during the academic year. The audience was also treated to vibrant and colourful cultural performances presented by the students of the Junior School.
The occasion provided an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the academic achievements of students from Standards I to V, as well as to honour students who had maintained 100% attendance throughout the academic year.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Saharsh Jana of Std. V, followed by the Closing Prayer and Benediction led by Rev. Rachel Sudarshan, Member of the Board of Management, Bishop Cotton Boys’ School.
The Annual Prize Day was a memorable celebration of the students’ achievements and served as a reflection of the school’s continued commitment to excellence in academics, character formation, and holistic development.
