Bishop Cotton Boys’ School added yet another feather to its cap by emerging as the Champions of the prestigious 13th Edition of the Claude Martin Debates and the Boulone Lise Memorial Quiz, hosted by La Martiniere College, Lucknow.
Representing the school with exceptional eloquence, confidence, and intellectual rigour were:
- Principal Speaker: Sukrit Sivaprasad
- Second Speaker: Ayush Prem
- Third Speaker: Glenn Harel
The Cottonian team delivered outstanding performances throughout the debate competition and was declared the overall winner, defeating Calcutta Boys’ School in a highly competitive final.
Adding to the glory of the occasion, Sukrit Sivaprasad was adjudged the Best Speaker of the debate competition, a prestigious individual honour that recognised his exceptional oratory, persuasive arguments, and commanding presence at the podium.
The team’s success is a reflection of their meticulous preparation, persuasive argumentation, and exemplary teamwork. Their achievement also stands as a testament to the dedicated guidance and mentorship of Mrs. Madhuri Nair Sanjeev, whose commitment and expertise played a pivotal role in preparing the students for this prestigious competition.
