Cottons hosted an interactive two-hour workshop on Tuesday 9th July, 2024 focused on William Shakespeare's renowned plays, Macbeth (ISC syllabus) and Julius Caesar (ICSE syllabus). The workshops were conducted by Mr. Divyesh Bhandari, an acclaimed theatre professional known for his extensive work with schools in Bangalore.
Mr. Bhandari's expertise in theatre and his engaging teaching style captivated the students, providing them with a deeper understanding of the themes, characters, and dramatic techniques employed by Shakespeare.
Students actively participated, gaining valuable insights into the historical and cultural contexts of the plays, as well as their relevance in contemporary times. The hands-on experience and expert guidance made the complex language and intricate plots of Shakespeare's works more accessible and enjoyable.
