To kindle the spirit of sportsmanship among the budding stars of our school, we ventured into various sports events on 25 th November 2023, on our 34 th Annual Sports Meet 2023-2024 with a great zeal, excitement, and frolicsome atmosphere. The Chief Guest Mr. Anup Garg IAS declared the sports meet open followed by the lighting of the torch, the symbol of spirit knowledge and life. The Mascot and the children dressed as decorations and goodies brought in the advent of Christmas which was a scintillating view. The chief guest and parents were the witness to our Kindergarteners giving it their best in a disciplined marchpast followed by colorful and energetic display and various novelty races. The sports day featured a diverse range of events, including track events and team sports. The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the track events, where athletes showcased their speed, agility, and endurance.
Sports Day at the Kindergarten level is not about competition. It is about having fun, being physically active, learning the basics of sports and building co-ordination and motor skills, to give our budding athletes an opportunity to display their self-confidence, patience, and sportsmanship.
The sports day was a resounding success, igniting passion and inspiring young athletes to pursue their sporting dreams. As the day came to a close, the cheers and smiles on the faces of athletes and spectators reflected the collective joy and appreciation for the spirit of sportsmanship and achievement. The sports day will be remembered as a memorable occasion that celebrated athletic excellence and showcased the indomitable spirit of sports.
