Selection Stage
Bishop Cotton Boys’ School has achieved a remarkable double victory at the Frank Anthony Memorial All-India Inter-School Debate Competition – Selection Stage, with both our Senior and Junior teams emerging victorious in their respective categories and qualifying for the Semi-Finals.
In Category I, Ayush Prem and Sukrit Sivaprasad secured victory with a confident and persuasive performance on the topic, “Carbon emission taxes should be made mandatory throughout the world.”
In Category II, Chayank Kaushik and Jaden Varghese Alex emerged as the Winning Team, debating the topic, “Is environmental degradation driven more by human need or human greed?” Adding to the achievement, Chayank Kaushik was adjudged the Best Speaker in Category II for his exceptional articulation, reasoning and poise.
Both teams are now just one step away from the National Finals, making this a moment of immense pride for the school.
A special word of gratitude is extended to Mrs. Sujin John and Mrs. Evelyn Sumana for their dedicated guidance, encouragement and invaluable contribution to this outstanding achievement.
