A team of eight students from Standards IX to XII had the privilege of participating in Capta Caelum 2026, the highly competitive Inter-School Cultural Fest meticulously organised by the staff and students of Wynberg Allen School, Mussoorie, on 29th August 2026.
The fest witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 22 reputed schools from across the country, with students competing in eight events spanning the fields of music, dance and art. The competitions were adjudicated by an eminent panel of experts, including Ms. Ana Sharma, Mr. Vikas Mukya, Mr. David Tamang, Mr. Charlie Cherian, and others.
Our students delivered outstanding performances and brought laurels to the school. Their achievements are as follows:
- Shetabh Somashekar, Joren Zack Vethaseelan and Johaan Jeshurun captivated both the audience and the judges with their harmonious performance, securing the First Prize in Motif, the three-member duet competition.
- Viraj V. Pitliya was adjudged the ‘Promising Dancer’ for his energetic, expressive and graceful performance.
- Joren Zack Vethaseelan secured First Place in the ‘Stand Up to Stand Out’ competition, winning hearts with his impeccable comic timing, wit and engaging stage presence.
We place on record our sincere gratitude to Mr. Leslie Tindale, Principal, Wynberg Allen School, and Mr. Anil Chaudhary, Capta Caelum Coordinator, for their warm hospitality and for the excellent organisation of this prestigious fest.
A special word of appreciation goes to Mrs. Elizabeth Angiras for her dedicated mentorship, guidance and unwavering support in preparing the students for the competition.
Capta Caelum 2026 was not merely a competition but a valuable learning experience that provided our students with an inspiring platform to showcase their talents, gain confidence and interact with young artistes from across the country.
The achievements of our students stand as a testament to their talent, dedication and team spirit.
